昆明美联英语:帮助中小学生学习英语的句式

首先我们对照上一次需要组合的句子:

1 this morning/a book/I/from the library/borrowed

答案:

I borrowed a book from the library this morning.

译文:

今早我从图书馆借了一本书。

2 the little boy/an apple/this morning/ate greedily/in the kitchen

答案:

The little boy ate apple greedily in the kitchen this morning.

译文:

今天上午,小男孩在厨房里贪婪地吃掉一个苹果。

3 a new school/built/they/in our village//last year

答案:

They built a new school in our village last year.

译文:

他们去年在我们村庄建了一所新学校。

4 she /a letter from her mother/last week/received

答案:

She received a letter from her mother last week.

译文:

上周她收到母亲的来信。

现在我们阅读下面的一组句子:

1 教室的墙壁上挂了一块表。

2 动物园里有许多野生动物。

3 冰箱里放了一些牛奶。

译文:

1 There is a clock on the wall in the classroom.

2 3 1

2 There are many wild animals in the zoo.

2 3 1

3 There is some milk in the fridge.

2 3 1

忽略语法术语,我们称这种结构的句子为2--3--1结构(食指--中指--拇指):即某某地方有什么。

再看下面一句常见的话:我们学校有24个班级。相应的英文是:

There are 24 classes in our school.

实际上这句话也可译成:Our school has 24 classes. 原因是:像学校(school), 家庭(family)等词有共同的特点都可以理解为某种组织。

这种2--3--1结构的句子也有各种时态的变化,下面我们通过翻译来理解和巩固:

1 There is going to be a concert in Shengzhen next Saturday.

2 树上结了许多的桃子。

3 体育场里一定有4万多人。

4 There are one hundred years in a century.

5 There were hundreds of TV channels twenty years ago.
